DocSnap ("the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be handled when using the App.

Information Stored Locally

The App stores all captured data locally on your device, including:

• Scanned document text (Lexor module)
• Extracted data from Lens detections (phone numbers, emails, addresses, etc.)
• Scan history and metadata (timestamps, custom names)
• User-provided rename/identifiers
• Export preferences and settings
• App preferences and UI settings

This information remains entirely on your device and is used solely to provide App functionality. All data is under your complete control and can be deleted anytime by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling.

Camera and Sensor Usage

DocSnap uses your device's camera to capture documents and recognize data. Camera data is processed locally in real-time and is not stored, transmitted, or shared. The App does not access any other sensors or location services.

Offline Functionality

DocSnap is fully functional offline. Text extraction (Lexor) and data recognition (Lens) work completely on your device without any internet connection. No data is transmitted to external servers or cloud services.

Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

Google AdMob may collect and process information such as:

• Advertising identifiers
• Device information
• IP address
• Approximate location information
• Ad interaction information

This information may be used by Google and its partners to provide, personalize, and measure advertisements. You can manage your ad preferences through your device's settings.

Third-Party Services

The App may use the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob (advertising)
• Google Play Services (app distribution and diagnostics)

These services may collect information according to their own privacy policies.

Diagnostic Information

Google Play and related platform services may collect diagnostic information such as crash reports, ANR (Application Not Responding) reports, and device compatibility information to help improve platform stability and performance.

Document & Data Security

All captured documents and recognized data remain on your device. The App does not upload, sync, or share your scans with any external service. Credit card numbers detected by Lens are displayed in masked format for security.

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience including students and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Choices

You have complete control over your data:

• Delete individual scans anytime from the App
• Clear all app data through your device settings
• Uninstall the App to remove all stored information
• Manage ad preferences through device settings
